How do Strapi deploys work?
Connect your GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket repository and every push to your production branch builds and deploys automatically, with live build logs in the browser. What database does my Strapi project get?
A dedicated PostgreSQL 15 instance, provisioned alongside your container — it belongs to your project alone. Set the connection string in your environment variables and you are done. Managed Redis 7 instances are also available if you want response caching.
Can I host my front end on the same plan?
Yes — that is the point of the Business plan (£19/mo, 3 hosted sites): run Strapi and a Next.js or Astro front end side by side on one bill. On Pro (£39/mo) you get 10 sites plus WireGuard private networking between them.
Do you meter my API traffic?
No. G7Cloud has no usage-based billing — you pay a fixed monthly price. ScaleShield’s bot protection also filters junk traffic before it ever reaches your Strapi instance.
Which Node versions are supported?
Node 18, 20 and 22 — you choose per app. Build commands, install commands and environment variables are all configurable in the dashboard.
