Can I upgrade or downgrade later?

Yes, at any time from your dashboard. Stripe handles the change with proration, so you are only ever charged for the part of the billing cycle you actually use on each plan.

What happens on the Free plan long-term?

Nothing bad — it is not a countdown. Your project, your published site at yoursite.sites.g7cloud.com, your free SSL and ScaleShield protection all stay live for as long as you want them. You only upgrade when you want a custom domain, more projects, or real hosting.

What are "AI tokens" in plain English?

Tokens are the units AI models use to read and write text — one token is roughly three-quarters of a word. Every instruction you give the AI Website Builder, and everything it writes back (copy, code, edits), consumes tokens. Each plan has a daily allowance, from 10K on Free to 1M on Agency, and it resets every day.

Can I bring my own domain?

Yes, on any paid plan. Point an A record at 31.132.2.56 and we issue free SSL automatically — wildcard certificates included. We also do full DNS hosting if you would rather move the whole zone to us. The Free plan publishes to a free yoursite.sites.g7cloud.com subdomain.

Do published builder sites use up my hosted site slots?

No. Builder publishes have their own allowance, separate from hosted sites. On Business, for example, you get 3 hosted sites AND 3 published builder sites — six live sites in total if you use both.

What’s the difference between the shared and dedicated database?

Accepted Answer

Every site always gets its own isolated database and database user — that never changes. The difference is where it runs. On the shared tier, your database lives on a managed MariaDB server shared across sites, which is great for most sites. On the dedicated tier, a private MariaDB server runs inside your site’s own container with its own reserved RAM — included on Pro and Agency, or £6/month per site as an add-on. Switching is one click from your dashboard: your site stays up in read-only mode for under a minute, and if anything fails the switch rolls back automatically.
