Mailboxes on your domain
Create mailboxes like hello@, accounts@ and yourname@ from the dashboard. Each one is a real, standards-based mailbox — not forwarding trickery — that you access however you prefer.

Roundcube webmail
Read and send from any browser with Roundcube — useful on borrowed machines, or if you simply don’t want to configure a mail client at all.

Standard protocols mean your mail works in Outlook, Apple Mail, Thunderbird, and the native mail apps on iOS and Android. IMAP keeps every device in sync with the server.
Spam filtering

DKIM & SPF, configured for you
Because your DNS is hosted with us too, we publish the DKIM key and SPF record for your domain automatically — the authentication records that receiving servers use to trust your mail. No copy-pasting TXT records from a wiki.

Getting set up
From no email to you@yourdomain in three steps
1. Point your domain at our DNS
Host your domain’s DNS on G7Cloud (zone import supported, all record types). We publish the MX, SPF and DKIM records your email needs — you never hand-edit a TXT record.
2. Create mailboxes & aliases
Add hello@, yourname@ and any aliases from the dashboard. Each mailbox gets IMAP/SMTP credentials and immediate webmail access.
3. Connect your devices
Add the account to Outlook, Apple Mail or your phone with the IMAP/SMTP details, or just use Roundcube in the browser. Mail syncs across everything.

Email hosting — honest answers
Is email really included, or is it a paid add-on?
It is included. Email hosting is a feature of every paid hosting plan, from Starter at £9/month — mailboxes, aliases, webmail, IMAP/SMTP and spam filtering, with no per-mailbox charge. To be precise about the framing: you are buying a hosting plan that includes email, not a standalone email product. The Free plan (AI Website Builder only) does not include email.
Can I keep using Outlook, Apple Mail or my phone?
Yes. Your mailboxes are standard IMAP/SMTP accounts, so they work in Outlook, Apple Mail, Thunderbird, Gmail’s app (via IMAP) and the built-in mail apps on iOS and Android. You can also use Roundcube webmail from any browser when you are away from your own devices.
Who actually runs the mail servers?
We do. G7Cloud runs its own mail platform on our own UK infrastructure — we are not reselling someone else’s email service with our logo on it. That matters when something needs fixing: the people answering your ticket are the people who operate the mail system.
What about spam, and will my messages reach inboxes?
Inbound mail passes through spam filtering before it reaches your mailbox. For outbound deliverability, we configure DKIM signing and SPF records for your domain automatically through our DNS hosting — the two mechanisms receiving servers check to verify your mail is genuinely from you. No host can honestly promise a delivery rate, but we set up the authentication that deliverability depends on, correctly, by default.
Can you move my existing email over?
Yes — email is part of our free assisted migration. We recreate your mailboxes and aliases on our platform, set up DKIM/SPF, and reroute mail delivery as part of the DNS cutover so messages keep arriving. If you need historic messages moved as well, mention it when you get in touch and we will plan that step with you.
How is this different from Google Workspace or Microsoft 365?
Workspace and 365 are per-user office suites — email plus documents, storage and video calls, at a per-user monthly price (Google Workspace starts at £5 per user per month as of July 2026). If your team lives in Google Docs, they are worth it. But if what you need is professional email on your own domain, G7Cloud includes it with hosting you are likely paying for anyway — one bill instead of two, and no per-user meter.
